The Oil Lamp Restaurant, founded by Judy Wenger, has been serving up some of the best Southern-Style, home-cooked meals in this area since 1996. Owner Judy Wenger was raised Mennonite and has years of hands-on cooking experience and lots of success with over restaurants, including a bakery in Montezuma and the Peach Valley Mennonite Restaurant. In 1996, she moved to Perry, Georgia where she opened the now famous Oil Lamp Restaurant.

Miss Judy, with help from her polite staff, prepares and oversees the food preparation every day for the Oil Lamp Restaurant. They work hard to see to it that the food coming from their kitchen offers the best taste of hometown goodness you can find. All of the desserts offered at the Oil Lamp Restaurant are created from recipes "patiently perfected" by Miss Judy over the years and are made fresh in her kitchen every day.
